About Us
LaMont began his career in the mortgage industry in his home state of Virginia during the "Refinance Boom" in 2001. He worked for one of the best known and successful mortgage shops in Hampton Roads, VA where he earned several awards including "Originator of the Year". While that company was known for its aggressive programs that helped clients who were looking to refinance, LaMont understood that there was much more to the mortgage business than refinancing. He was determined to be more than just a single-transaction loan officer and began developing a multifaceted program that would better help his clients.
As a result, LaMont pursued extensive continuing education and has been designated as a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist for the past six years. Through his learning, he has innovated programs that help his clients through every life event that involves a mortgage, whether that be navigating the home buying process for the first time, or refinancing to fund a child's education or start a new business.
Now in North Texas, LaMont is excited to have joined Secure Choice Lending, a company that shares LaMont's goals and values. The foremost being that the client is always put first and that great service is provided.
LaMont gets great satisfaction out of helping people realize the dream of home ownership and achieving their fullest financial potential.
LaMont loves living in Dallas with his wife, Kathi, and enjoys being active in the community, and spending time mentoring.
